To manufacture means to make with one's hands. We see making as more than a hobby, a passtime or a leisure; we make WITH the world around us, developing ourselves and our world through this intimate interaction. CART seeks to bring making that matters to the marketplace, providing a route for skilled young makers from the Southwest of england to sell their craft. Heritage crafts in our country are endangered; we risk loosing generations of knowledge alltogether. At Cart We and all our makers take on the responsibility of re-membering these histories whilst we navigate their futures.
